Also...I wanted to let you all know that I (Coach Rebecca Campbell) will be competing at Wodapalooza this weekend in the intermediate team division! I'm competing with an awesome team of athletes from Crossfit HYPE in Boca, so if any of you guys were thinking of coming down to Miami to check it out, I've attached my schedule of events below!


What began as a grassroots 1-day fitness competition with 145 athletes and 500 spectators in 2012, Wodapalooza (WZA) has since established itself as the world’s premier Functional Fitness Festival. The Wodapalooza descends on Miami’s Bayfront Park for 4-days in February and brings together thousands of athletes, spectators and fitness fanatics to celebrate fitness, community and life.


There are multiple parts to WZA Miami, the fitness competition (the foundation of WZA Miami), the Weightlifting Faceoff (1-day Olympic Lifting competition, WZA Strong (a hybrid competition of Strongman and functional fitness movements), the Gauntlet (an exciting and fast race through three workouts within an hour), and the spectator experience- which includes one of the largest collections of functional fitness vendors and exhibitors as well as spectator workouts and seminars.


All set next to the Biscayne Bay in sunny Miami, the Wodapalooza has become a calendar staple for the local Florida fitness community and a winter getaway for athletes from around the world.

CrossFit (6am/7am/9am/12:15pm/5:30pm/6:30pm/7:30pm)



2 minutes of cardio, then grab a MB and perform 2 rounds of:

10 MB Thrusters

10 OH MB Lunges

10 Hollow Rocks

10 Single leg V-ups

10 Reverse Scorptions (round 1) / Can openers (round 2)



10 Rounds of:

15/20 Calories / 10 Burpee Box Jumps 20/24 (alternating rounds)


Wall Balls 14/20



Post WOD:

3 Rounds of:

1 minute wall sit

50 Foot Handstand Walk



On-Ramp (7:30pm)
